In today's Community Coffee, Fr. Pedro Tramontin and Fr. Mathew Perumpil did a special unveiling to launch our newest mission initiative, St. Camillus Serves.
Mission
St. Camillus Serves goes beyond our campus walls to provide services and support to seniors and their families who are in need within our community. We demonstrate our vocation and the values of our founder by serving with compassion and love, honoring the sacredness and dignity of those whom we serve.
St. Camillus Serves focuses on three key areas: residents, employees, and community. We are excited to share the many ways our work aligns with our mission in the future.
It is an annual tradition at St. Camillus to award a deserving team member the Spirit of St. Camillus. Employees are nominated from their fellow team members for living out the St. Camillus mission in their every day work. This year, there were two extra deserving employees. Our 2021 Spirit of St. Camillus winners are Sue Schreiner and Sr. Caritas Kanjaro. Congratulations to Sue and Sr. Caritas!
This week we celebrated the Feast of St. Camillus with a variety of activities for both residents and staff members. The week kicked off with a spaghetti fundraiser and a special Mass over the weekend and continued with resident and employee picnics, ice cream socials, Community Coffee and Feast Week Masses. Thanks to all who made Feast Week a success!
As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns.
