Our Memory Care abides by the belief that loss of memory due to Alzheimer’s Disease or any other form of dementia does not mean loss of dignity. Our team members support the spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical needs of each resident with the compassion and respect that they deserve. We earned the 2024 Leading Age Dementia Specific designation. A Dementia Specific™ care community is dedicated to a holistic philosophy that embraces and fosters individualized dementia-centered care and support.
Our unfurnished apartments are private and large enough to allow for familiar furniture from the previous place of residence. Memory boxes are outside each of the residents’ doors to allow for easy room recognition based on visual imagery and not by recalling room numbers or locations.
Our 65 apartments are divided into 3 neighborhoods. They are specifically designed in a racetrack loop for meaningful, safe wandering. They each have their own dining area and secure access to an outdoor patio or courtyard. Common areas are set up as dens or living rooms to emulate a residential setting. Those areas also serve as a space for the robust and effective life enrichment programming which includes music therapy and intergenerational sessions. Outside of the neighborhoods, residents have access to our chapels and beauty shop.
